Selke Dress
A sartorial tribute to my favorite sea otter, Selke, queen of my heart and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Patterned from a 1940s Alfred Shaheen tiki dress, this babe features a princess-seamed bodice flat-lined in coutil and boned with spiral steel. Bodice and skirt are fully lined in silk. A absolute dream of a dress to wear. There is a detachable shoulder drape that doubles as a wrap, for when you’re feeling fancy. Can also be made with detachable wide gathered shoulder straps.
Exterior is 100% organic cotton, lining is 100% silk
