I see something I like, now what?

Unless otherwise noted, all pieces listed are bespoke. That means that each piece will be drafted, cut, sewn and embellished by me just for you. The color and fabric choices shown in the listings are simply starting points for your own custom piece.

Once you place an order, I will contact you to get your measurements and discuss your color/fabric/embellishment options. In the comment section, please indicate your preferred contact method.

What if I don’t know my measurements?

House of VerMillions is happy to walk you through the measurement process over video call, if you're feeling unsure about where and how to take measurements.

What if it doesn’t fit right?

Custom clothing should fit you like, well, it should fit like custom clothing, actually. Accurate measurements are a great starting point, but for items made with non-stretch or delicate fabrics, I find a toile (or two) is best to ensure the perfect fit. Toiles and video fittings are always included in the price of your item, as are alterations.

How long does it take?

In general, special occasion wear will take 4-6 weeks. Burlesque and ballroom costume time frames are more variable, depending on the level of complexity and embellishment. If you are ordering a burlesque or ballroom costume and absolutelty need it less than 8 weeks from time of order, please add Rush Sewing to your costume order.
